Project overview
In the open cut station project of Changchun Metro Line 6 in 2025, H20 type wooden beam will be used as the core component of the side wall formwork support. The project needs to cope with a winter construction environment of -25 ℃, and requires a single-sided formwork to withstand the lateral pressure of an 8-meter-high concrete wall (design load 4800N/m ²).
Product selection criteria
Structural adaptability
The H20 beam with 80mm wide spruce sawn timber and 27mm thick plywood belly plate is selected, and its 5.5kNm bending modulus meets the dynamic load requirements of hydraulic climbing formwork. Install iron protective covers at the ends to prevent damage from lifting collisions.
Environmental tolerance
The surface water-based anti-corrosion paint has passed the -30 ℃ freeze-thaw cycle test, combined with the tenoning process of boiling water for 72 hours without cracking, to ensure stability in high humidity environments.
Economic analysis
Compared to traditional steel supports, wooden beams achieve:
Weight loss of 60% (5.0KG/m vs 12.5KG/m)
After 52 cycles of turnover, the residual value rate still reaches 70%
Construction highlights
Modular installation
By quickly assembling with stainless steel connectors, 120 linear meters of side wall formwork can be completed in a single day, with joint accuracy controlled within ± 2mm.
Quality control
Each batch of beams undergoes a 5kN/m ² load test, and the flatness of the wall after pouring meets the GB50204-2015 acceptance standard.
