Technology and Aesthetics Driven by Simultaneous Efforts to Create Green "Good Houses"
From March 27th to 30th, the 2026 Guangzhou Custom Home Furnishing Exhibition was held at the Poly World Trade Center Expo. Throughout the four-day event, the Xingang booth consistently maintained exceptionally high popularity.
Xingang Group debuted with the theme "Green Heart Within, Outer Five-Dimensional Aesthetics," officially announcing the comprehensive implementation of its "Dual-Drive Strategy of Technology and Aesthetics." The bionic technology panels, a product of over a decade of innovative research, combined with an Oriental aesthetic that aligns with the current "Guochao" (national tide) trend, attracted a vast number of professional visitors and garnered coverage from over a hundred media outlets, led by Xinhua Net.
Xinhua Net: Why did Xingang propose "The Green Heart of a Good House" as the core theme for this exhibition?
"Green Heart" carries three layers of meaning. First, "Green" represents our bionic technology, and "Heart" represents the core component. A "Good House" represents a national strategy; the heart is vital to life, just as panels are vital to consumer health. The foundation of a good house must begin with a good panel.
Our featured "Five Realms" series is grounded in bionic technology and distills five spatial moods from Oriental aesthetics: Grandeur, Elegance, Stone, Artistry, and Clouds, forming a complete aesthetic system. This series was developed over two years by our design consultants and core R&D team, with every pattern meticulously refined. Its uniqueness lies in the fact that it possesses both the environmental confidence of bionic technology and the design expression of Oriental aesthetics.
Bionic glue is a new type of formaldehyde-free adhesive that we independently developed over ten years. Currently, this adhesive is widely used in wood-based panels, and the resulting series of bionic products has entered thousands of households. In 2012, my mentor, Academician Li Jian, was walking on the beach when he noticed sea rainbows—also known as mussels—firmly attached to the surface of rocks. He wondered if their bonding mechanism could be applied to our wood-based panels. Based on this concept, he proposed the idea of "Bionic Bonding." We selected green polyhydroxy compounds and used water as the sole solvent to develop this new formaldehyde-free adhesive, which we call Bionic Adhesive. In terms of environmental safety, the only solvent in our glue is water, with no added formaldehyde, benzene, or xylene, reaching the "aldehyde-free added" grade. Regarding TVOCs, it has passed the US UL Greenguard Gold certification and CDPH standards. Our indicators meet the highest standards in third-party testing. Furthermore, the glue inherently contains antibacterial substances, giving the produced panels functional properties that achieve Grade I strong antibacterial effects.
I believe it stems from three points. First, Xingang has always believed in and practiced the idea that "science and technology are the primary productive forces." Our bionic glue has enabled the extension of "integrated door-wall-cabinet" solutions, evolving from a single product to multiple categories. Second, our glue is entirely self-developed; we possess the theoretical papers, invention patents, appraisals for new technologies/products, and authoritative third-party certifications. Third, the national "Good House" policy and the rising consumer demand for health and environmental protection have created a new market space that our green and bionic products perfectly fill.
From "one panel" to "one home," Xingang's vision is actually to achieve environmental protection for the entire space. We hope to use our bionic technology and products to "bring nature into our homes." This allows us to reach a state of "free breathing" within the living space. We have already achieved the leap between bionic technology and bionic aesthetics. Next, we will continue toward the differentiation, segmentation, high-end positioning, and branding of bionic technology products, ultimately providing consumers with a healthy and environmentally friendly home space.
